Mentor-Mentee Programme
guys and girls
please check out who is your mentee from your email...
read up the purpose and objective of the mentor-mentee programme
there is this mentor-mentee evaluation form to be fill in.. detail can be find out from the email it self
FYI
Our LAE mentor is Patrick Seah
Anything regarding our training should go to him and not Mr. Muthee. He will in charge of all of our stuff and will monitor us every time, be it a CAAS paper or training programme. So, in other words, he can arrange our interview sequence from what he had monitored..
anyway, those who haven't submit their latest CAAS exam paper should submit to him(Patrick) as soon as possible, NOT CHERAINE OR MUTHEE

something to share with
after sometime in asu, i made a small note to refer to so that it's easier to work.. i wrote this on a small piece of paper n bring it around.
i wan to pass this info to my frds whose going to line maint, this piece of info shd be very useful to u..it may not make sense to u now, but it will be when u are on the job.
Call
131.05 -- Maintrol (eg to find out which bay the aircraft arriving to, or departure flight no.) / Rampcontrol (to call for Ground power unit, to ask ST engineering to disconnect aerobridge, or to ask them to call airtug for towing)
121.9 -- Apron ( to ask for clearance to tow frm E22 to 401. say: Apron this is Sierra Papa Alfa, now at Bay Echo 22, ready for Bay 401.)
131.225 -- Despatch ( to ask for provisional fuel for Passenger planes. say: Despatch this is SPA, request provisional fuel figure for flight 221. roger 68 decimal 0 for flight 221, SPA at bay E22.) / SIN CARGO ( to call for provisional fuel for 744 freighters. say : SIN CARGO, SFA flight 7888, fuel figure please? roger 74 decimal 0 flight 7888, SFA now at bay 507.)
128.6 -- Weather report (when doing engine grd run, u might wan to hear the weather report, wind direction. seldom use this frequency, but pls take note)
*forgot which frequency to use to call PC to order parts.
when run Aux Pump, dont run it for too long. may overheat. also ensure fuel tank 1, 4 > 900kg and 2,3 > 2400kg
if got 600hr check, for pax planes, when checking for pineapple bottles' pressure gage and slide raft's pressure gage >3000psi. also check for PBE expiry 1 month prior, survival kit 1 month prior, FAK (first aid kit) expiry 10 days prior, adult life vest expiry 3 yrs prior, EMK workshop o/h date 30months, to replace if used.
when 744 >9hrs stayover -- usually will do 600 hr weekly check + tech log review
refuelling usually take 0.780 to 0.785 as specific gravity ( 1 litre * s.g. = kg)
refuelling pressure 35-55 psi.
if u dun wan to do AUTO refuel, put the switch to CLOSE ALL VALVES. and open each refuel valve of main tank by urself.
if cannot... go to CEC do VTO.
if cannot... will need to manually open the REFUEL VALVE at the spar by turning the knob.
note that some 744 freighters' refuel panel is crazy one. sometimes require VTO n also open refuel valve manually.
fuel discrepancy = 3% of depart fuel or maximum 3000kg.
water detector - remain yellow (no h20)
tablet - turn blue (contaminated)
at freighter planes, elect. power:
|blank| |ON| |AVAIL| |BLANK|
APU Batt switch 'BATT' always pushed to ON when u on APU.
Standby power usually on 'Auto'.
extra info is welcomed! pls dont hesitate to correct my mistakes also.
